Clearpath Global print collateral
Clearpath Global asked us to design print collateral in preparation for an event. Here we show an example of their product sheets.
- As a basic branding rule, it’s important that print collateral is consistent with a company’s web presence. Clearpath is in the midst of having their site redesigned, so we asked for a peek at that progress in order to incorporate that look and feel into the design of their product sheets.
- Have you noticed icons are having a day in online and print items you’re seeing everyday? They are seemingly used everywhere, as a quick way to illustrate concepts. But we take care not to overdo them. Too many icons, and they will be ignored as clutter. Icons are inherently simple and conceptual, not meant to be used as full literal illustrations.
- To help collateral be easily read and digested, we design with clean lines and lots of white space. In this case, we asked Clearpath to slash their content by at least 50%, since much of their original text and photos were in fact redundant. Resist the urge to include the kitchen sink!
