FAQs: Answering Your Design and Marketing Questions

Branding, Email Marketing, Graphic Design, Print Design, Web Design, Web Development

1. How do we make our website accessible?

Making sure your website is usable by everyone, including those with disabilities, is a task to be handled by your web designer. Federal government and nonprofit websites are required by law to adhere to accessibility guidelines – foremost for color contrast, font sizes and user interaction.

2. Should I use AI to generate images instead of purchasing stock photos?

It depends. Are they consistent with your branding? Be aware that using AI images in marketing materials may call your credibility into question. Your customers may wonder: ”Where else are they taking shortcuts?”.

3. What’s the best way to convert print materials to online?

We’re always busy providing online versions for printed items. Brochures are converted to PDFs. Postcard content becomes an HTML email campaign. Select print materials can be converted to a website page. But often due to online limitations, some items will require tweaking or a complete redesign.

4. Should our website reflect our logo’s color palette and fonts?

Not necessarily. Don’t be hamstrung by your logo; once established, its colors and fonts can stand alone. Part of great design is bringing in other colors and using the right fonts for a website or brochure.

5. Should we add testimonials to our company’s website?

If they’re authentic, testimonials (or case studies) can add to your company’s credibility. Keep them short: they should be about the effectiveness of your product or service, not the customer’s life story.
